Hey, and a massive welcome! This site has been created for family, friends and fellow aspiring aviators to keep updated on my progress. In September 2018, I began my lifelong dream to train as a commercial pilot, with L3 CTS Airline Academy and easyJet: the Generation easyJet MPL Scheme.

Intermediate Phase - A320 sim
Southampton, UK.
Aircraft type-specific training on the A320. This includes technical ground school and advanced handling skills on the simulators.

Advanced Phase - A320 sim
Southampton, UK.
The advanced phase is similar to Type Rating. The full SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are incorporated. This is prepartion for my License Skills Test.

Basic Phase - Jet Intro & UPRT
Bournemouth, UK.
Multi-pilot flight training, with an introduction to the A320 simulator and the jet operations. Includes Upset Prevention Recovery Training - the "Vomit Comet".
July 2019 - TBC
Core Phase - Flying
Clearways, Hamilton, New Zealand.
The core phase includes the fundamentals of visual flying, basic instrument flying, night flying and UPRT.
October 2017 - January 2018
Application
Dibden Manor, Southampton, UK.
In October 2017, I submitted my online application to L3 CTS for screening. Stages 1 & 2 followed in both November and January respectively. On 16th January, I was offered a place on the easyJet programme - Route 1 MPL.
11 September 2018 - 28 March 2019
Ground School ATPL Theory
Coventry, UK.
This part of training comprises of 14 ATPL examinations, split into 3 modules. The pass mark is 75%, however, the expectation is a minimum of 85% and no more than 2 fails. I completed groundschool with first-time passes and a 95% average.
