Tuesday 11th September marked the milestone so far in my aviation journey - my "First Flight" event with L3 CTS in Coventry. Although, I'd been to an open day in Southampton, I had never visited the Coventry centre until my first day...
All I can say is - I'm not disappointed!
Yes, there may not be the glamorous sims like Southampton, yet with 3 days of lessons, I know it's the best centre for me: the instructors are fantastic, all with aviation backgrounds and a real passion for what they do.
So, week 1? After my family helped me move into the accommodation in Coventry, it was time to say goodbye and get prepared for the early 0800 start. #NotFeelingIt
Wednesday - mainly introduction as to what to expect during ground school, followed by maths tutorials to prepare us for the next 6 months.
Thursday - Mass and Balance/Human Performance and Limitations
Friday - Mass and Balance/Meteorology.
Loving M&B so far, as mainly methodology that once nailed, it is pretty straight-forward to get your head around. Just like I knew it would, Met has hit me. The amount of content I wasn't too familiar with definitely overwhelmed. So, this weekend, I plan to hit the ground running and nail the basic concepts... #atmosphere #weather #pressuresystems
With that, I best crack on.
